OUR HISTORY
Aleksei and Lera are graduates of cinema and broadcasting schools in Moscow, Russia. Their careers in the TV industry began with Lera’s work as a camera operator and video editor, and after, transitioning to directing a variety of TV shows; entertainment programs on MTV, educational curiosity shows, music documentaries for KORN and Slipknot, and arena concert broadcasts. Lera’s versatility and expertise have showcased her talents in filming an array of people, from Britney Spears to even - love it or hate it - Donald Trump.
Aleksei, on the other hand, started his career at TVRain, Russia’s sole non-government funded opposition TV channel. During his tenure, he worked as a director of photography and camera operator for various political shows, documentaries, and music events. Additionally, he conducted thousands of interviews with high-profile figures and influential personalities, including Alexei Navalny, James Cameron, Joni Eareckson Tada, and Volodymyr Zelensky. Their combined experience in different production roles and projects has provided them with a comprehensive understanding of the entire production process, from ideation to completion.
In 2015, Aleksei and Lera relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, where they founded QUIETROCK Video Production the following year. The company has since produced more than 500 videos for an extensive range of clients, including tech companies, startups, small businesses, and YouTube creators throughout the Bay Area and the continental United States. Collaborating with a collective of producers, screenwriters, sound recordists, gaffers, and other talented production personnel has enabled them to expand their creative reach and maximize their output. Their ultimate goal is not only to capture an event or talking heads, but to ensure that each frame has a distinct style and aesthetic that emphasizes the brand’s soul and essence, leaving their clients impressed with the quality of the final product.
